It is that time of year again where EstoBro celebrates Pokémon Day with fellow trainers, collectors, gamers, etc. This year's episode features Johto Johnny and the return of Lebanon Don. The nerd collective discuss how the Pokémon Company had to back pedal to their 'big brother' Nintendo after the mass popularity of Palworld (12:40). A law suit has followed between the two monster collecting titles, which can subliminally be considered karma with Nintendo being down this road in the past. The next major title of the franchise is Pokémon Legends: Z-A which has not had any major announcement since last year's Pokémon Day (25:35), as the Gents decipher who the starter Pokémon will be upon release of this game. Nintendo also had a showcase for their next gaming counsel, the Switch 2. EstoBro engages his guests on what this means for the Pokémon franchise (49:30), as the collective make some bold claims for what will be available for Pokéfans; especially the future release of Generation X going hand-in-hand with the 30th anniversary next year. There's also speculation surrounding other areas of detail, like the state of Pokémon Trading Card Game and the TCG Pocket that released last year (57:00). Tune in, fellow Pokémon trainers! We enjoy celebrating Pokémon Day on the EstoBro TV Podcast!
