Show Notes

With TV indisposed from traveling to Germany and recovering from his Miami Heat losing in the Eastern Conference Finals, Young Jaimé rejoins EstoBro to record another edition of the podcast. The host puts Señora Doubtfire on the spot about Arby's finally getting the respect it deserves (1:30) after being featured on a podcast that caught wildfire all over the internet, especially with the release of their new featured item on the menu. After the cold open, EstoBro gets into it with Young Jaimé regarding the new series that just debuted over the holiday weekend with Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+ (9:20). The pair dissect the initial reaction of the first two episodes, how it will contribute to the Star Wars saga, and how the fanbase continues to prove that they are the "worst fanbase in existence" when it comes to anything new introduced to the franchise. With Memorial Day weekend passing, the annual EDM music festival took place in Tampa with Sunset Music Festival (22:15), and your boy EstoBro was definitely there to represent and party all weekend long. He gives his general criticism over major acts pulling out of the festival, also giving details on what should be improved for the festival in the coming years. The transition into the sports segment of the show starts discussing the matchup of the NBA Finals (36:30) that will feature the Boston Celtics against the Golden State Warriors. EstoBro sticks to his guns with his pick on who is going to win the series with the Warriors, while Young Jaimé makes a good case for the Celtics who are riding a very good high throughout this entire playoffs. EstoBro also enables the guilty pleasure of soccer for Young Jaimé with the Champions League Final (52:10) that happened over the weekend, especially the controversy that took place before the match and how it ruled in favor of the underdogs of the matchup. The final segment of the show has Young Jaimé eager to participate in the 'Meme Wars' (60:00) on the podcast, discussing an outside argument on who has been a bigger impact in comedy between Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler. With each person making their case for each comedian, their major impact on their line of work has been substantial for what memes Carrey and Sandler have produced.
